The mixed-media painting The Magician by RF aka a.muse integrates metallic paint washes tor a portrait composed of geometric shapes. The paintings incorporate pastel, acrylic, sand, and organic elements. Fields of warm and cool colors are built up on the substrate by scraping down the surface. Sand provides texture, with the course and rough adding to the surface rawness.
